MUAZZAM MAIRAWANI - CHAIRMAN

Muazzam Mairawani (MSM) is a Nigerian entrepreneur who is known for his teamwork-driven leadership, and ethical principles. He provides strategic guidance for his group of companies within the oil and gas exploration & production, power, cement, and shipping.

Muazzam hails from a prominent family and has built strategic partnerships with industry leaders and is a discreet philanthropist. He graduated from Middlesex University London with a B.Sc. in Business Information Systems (BIS), and has also completed Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses in Computing from Informatics Academy, Singapore.

In 2022, Muazzam was named SDGs Peace Ambassador by the UN, he remains dedicated to creating sustainable businesses, inspiring young Africans, and showcasing African enterprise on the global stage.

DR. MANSUR MUHTAR

Dr. Mansur Muhtar served as the Vice President, Country Programs at the Islamic Development Bank. He also served as Executive Director on the Board of the World Bank Group (2011-2014) as well as Co-Chair of the UN Inter-Governmental Committee of Experts on Sustainable Development Finance (2013-2014). He has served as Minister of Finance for the Federal Republic of Nigeria and as Chairman of the National Economic Management team (2008-2010), as Executive Director, African Development Bank (2007-2008) and as Director-General of Nigeria’s Debt Management Office (2003-2007).

Dr. Muhtar holds a doctorate degree in Economics from the University of Sussex in the UK and a masters degree in the Economics and Politics of Development from the University of Cambridge. An alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria, and King’s College, Lagos who has attended numerous leadership and professional development courses at the Kennedy School, Harvard University; the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania; and the Singapore Civil Service Administrative College. Dr. Muhtar is a recipient of the Nigeria National Honors Award – Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR) – for his contribution to national development.

TOPE ADEDARA

Tope Adedara, Group Managing Director of MSM Group and serves on the boards of the group’s major subsidiaries. He has over 31 years of experience in business advisory, governance, audit, and financial management across multiple industries, including oil & gas, cement, power and logistics. He has held key roles with major assurance and advisory firms, in Nigeria, UK, and US, serving Fortune 500 clients.

Previously, Tope was Chief Audit Executive and Technical Adviser at Dangote Group, aiding its cement expansion into 17 countries and facilitating governance for $10B+ investments. Before joining MSM, he served as a Senior Vice President with the 6th largest bank in the USA, with total assets over $560B.

ENGR. MUSTAPHA BALARABE SHEHU

Mustafa Balarabe Shehu is an Electrical Engineer and the 17th President of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) who has served in various leadership positions, including President of the Federation of African Engineering Organisations (FAEO), and President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

Engr. Shehu has over 35 years of experience in electrical power engineering, project management, administration, and leadership. His fellowships include the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Nigerian Academy of Engineering (NAEng), Nigerian Institution of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (NIEEE), and the Solar Energy Society of Nigeria (SESN).

AHMAD RUFAI SHAKUR

Ahmad Rufai Shakur has over 32 years of experience in oil and gas industry with very robust service records in the regulatory arm of the sector. With a strong academic background (a graduate of petroleum engineering) and extensive experience in the energy sector, especially at the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) in Nigeria, Shakur brings valuable expertise to his role as the Vice-President Exploration & Production,.

With an academic background of Political Science and an MBA, Mr. Shakur has also attended numerous management and leadership courses locally and internationally in notable institutions worldwide like the Columbia Business School, New York and Wharton Business School, USA.

HENRY IKEM OBI

Henry Ikem Obi is a highly experienced professional with a distinguished career in the oil & gas industry. He has held senior leadership positions in two of the most influential organizations in Nigeria’s energy sector – ExxonMobil and NNPC – where he significantly influenced upstream operations, corporate strategies, and transparency in the industry.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate with an MBA from the University of Bradford, Henry is affiliated with leading professional bodies and has completed executive programs at Columbia, MIT, IMD, London Business School, and Lagos Business School. His career is marked by his dedication to sustainable growth and excellence in the energy sector.

HAJIA AISHA KATAGUN

Hajia Aisha Farida Katagum is an experienced chartered accountant with over 30 years of expertise in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, predominantly with the Nigerian Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

She served in various positions at NNPC taking numerous leadership responsiblities such as Manager of Sales, Planning & Budget, Executive Director of Storage, Group Manager of NNPC Shipping and Group General Manager of Supply Chain Management. In these roles, she was instrumental in strategic oil trading, sales and logistics, considerably enhancing the nation’s energy security and supply chain efficiency.

She is an alumna of Bayero University Kano and received training at the Akintola Williams Audit Firm and has participated in many international professional development programs.

ALHAJI SIRAJO SALISU

Dr. Sirajo Salisu has over 33 years of expertise in banking and risk management. He has served as the Managing Director of Jaiz Bank Plc where he previously held key roles, including Chief Risk Officer and Executive Director for Business Development in the Northern region.

Prior to joining Jaiz Bank in 2016, he served as MD/CEO of Arab Gambian Islamic Bank (AGIB) for six years. Dr. Sirajo holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, along with multiple degrees in Economics and Islamic Finance, and is an esteemed member of professional banking bodies in Nigeria.
